Meet author Xu Xi and get free tickets to HK Bookfair

Ahead of the Hong Kong Book Fair, its organisers, the HKTDC invites you to a free public literary event “Reading Hong Kong: Another Viewpoint” with author Xu Xi, this Saturday (17 July) 1pm at Harbour City’s KidX.

Xu Xi , a Chinese-Indonesian native of Hong Kong, has written books focusing on identity issues surrounding Hong Kong, including The Unwalled City, Overleaf Hong Kong and Evanescent Isles. Those attending not only get insights from her on Hong Kong but also receive admission tickets to the Book Fair and free books.

The author will also lead a Book Fair seminar, “Writing between English and Chinese,” 22 July, beginning at 4pm.
